Here’s a quick Walgreen’s 101:
Walgreens & other drug stores have there own lingo. Here is a quick look at what some of the Walgreen’s Abreviations mean that you might find around my blog:
- RR = Register Reward
- Roll = to sustain your Register Rewards from previous weeks
- OOP = out of pocket (this is the amount that has to actually come from your pocket)
- Qs = Coupon’s
- CPN = Coupon
- BOGO = Buy one get one
- WYB = when you buy
- RP = Red Plum
- SS = Smart Source
- GM = General Mills
- P&G = Proctor & Gamble
- OVERAGES = money left to spend on other items
- FILLER = items needed for purchase to make coupon go through without beeps.
Order of operation when entering the store with coupons:
- Hand over the manufacture coupon first
- Then the Walgreens Coupon. Depending on your cashier you might or might not be able to do this.
The purpose for this is to allow for possible overages. Again, some stores might or might not do this. Walgreen’s does not have a clear coupon policy.
If you ever have a problem with the Register Reward not printing out, you can contact Catalina = 888-322-3814. You will need the following information when calling (I know this because I have called MANY times):
- Your VIC number
- Store number and location address
- Time and date of purchase
- Your name and mailing address
- The actual promotion the catalina was to print for
You can also e-mail all the above information to: coupon@catalinamarketing.com
