As you can see it fits all my necessities and then some.  I have room for my: iPad House Binder Kid Binder Blog Binder Sunscreen ...and a drink on the other side I love that the straps are strong and didn't dig into my shoulder {hate that}.  Of course when you load it up like I do it will be heavy but this bag is not going to break. Don't you love this bag.  It's super simple, chic, kid friendly and did I mention adorable.  Love the water melon lining.  Each bag will come with different living {and you can check that out here}.  Want one for yourself? … [Read more...]

Do you remember Conan the Adventurer?

conan

Do you remember Conan as a kid?  Maybe I've just dated myself but he rocked!  - Don't laugh -  We are big movie/TV buffs in this house so anything new {and kid appropriate} we will check out! The Adventurer: Season One in a 2-DVD set, featuring all 13 action-packed episodes.  Over the summer break we had a chance to check it out.   Produced by Sunbow, the 1980s animation giant behind Hasbro’s Transformers and G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero...I assumed my little guy would have taken it all in.  Within 10 minutes I'm not sure it had his complete attention.  Now, he's a big "muscle man" scene watcher so I was a little shocked.  That being said, my little princess was totally into it.  Funny right?? If you remember the whole Conan adventure, you'll be pretty familiar with the line up of shows.  Here's what you'll get on disc: Season One Episode List:  Disc 1 The Night Of Fiery Tears Blood Brother Star Of Shadizar Conan The Gladiator The Heart Of … [Read more...]

The Help movie, Have you read the book?

THE HELP

Ever since I received an email about being able to enter and win a spot on the movie last year I've waited for this film to come out.  I've been a big fan of three of the actors in the new movie "The Help" due out august 11, 2011.  I have a great handout if your involved in a book club. Print your copy HERE included with drink recipes, stories and great conversation pieces. If you need to view the movie, you can do so here. I haven't read the book and at this point I won't until I see the film this week because I don't want it to spoil me.  Have you read the book?  Have you identified the book characters with the movie characters? Tate Taylor one of the movies screen writers, actor and directors was a vital voice in this film since he himself had a personal revaluation.  I have so much to ask him!!!  Do you?  If you could ask him anything, what would it be? I only hear the stories my grandmother tells me {and those are bleak since she doesn't like to talk … [Read more...]

Review: Sugar FREE Ring Pops

title

We recently received a trial pack of Ring Pops to try out.  I actually didn't notice the sugar free part. So while I was at my local Dollar Tree, I picked up another bag since it was only $.99. Well, I got home and realized that the Ring Pop were Sugar Free.  They're made with Splenda which I've never been to fond of. Since I had both sugar free and regular in hand I did a little comparison.  I of course noticed a little {very little} taste difference in the splenda but my kids, did not.  So truly, that's worth it to me.  Of course my daughter loved it because it looks like a princess ring.  I love that!  Look for Sugar Free Ring Pop at Walmart and BJ's stores nationwide. Sugar Free Ring Pops are also available at Amazon.com in bags of three's and ShopTopps.com. You can visit Ring Pop Facebook fan page and learn more about their product.  Do you guys have any childhood memories with Ring pops?  I totally do.  I remember putting on my "jewels" and hanging my hand … [Read more...]

Cars 2 Review 2011

DSC05336

Hope you all had a chance to go check out the new Cars 2 movie that was recently released. If not, check out my first post on ordering ticket tips.  Fandango was my choice and so glad I used them. My family and I took in a matinee two days after opening and even though it was a few days after, it was still packed.  We tried our best to get in for the matinee but my hubby gets a headache with all the fun moving action {bummer}.  So, we compromised and watched the regular version but he loaded us up with concession snacks ;-). The movie was Great!!  If you didn't see the first movie, no worries!  This is a great stand alone movie all by itself and you'll enjoy it.  I have to admit, I cried several times {mainly because it was so darn sweet} and thoroughly enjoyed it just as much as my kids.   I'll leave you with one last picture.  I was so, "that" parent that had to pull out the camera in the middle of the movie.  But I had to, I didn't use flash so I wouldn't … [Read more...]

Dr. Miracle Product Review

Review of Dr. Miracles Hair Care Products

I'm always on the lookout for Hair products.  Anyone who knows ME knows you can look under my cupboards and find a mini beauty supply.  So when the opportunity came up to review a product that I was already somewhat familiar with, I absolutely was all over it. I've used Dr. Miracle in the past and liked it but couldn't remember why I stopped using it.  I remember the tingly sensation it gives your scalp when used.  I called around to 5 different Smith's {Kroger} stores and only one carried this product. To view my entire story, click over to my whrrl and watch the slide show. Review: TinkerBell & The Great Fairy Rescue & Coupon

I am a true Classic by nature.  I love all the nostalgia around old tales, original films and classics.  We loved being able to do a review of the New Disney Tinker Bell & the Great Fairy Rescue.  My twins are 5 {boy & girl} and they are true movie Buffs just like mommy & daddy.  They were captivated from the sheer sign of Disney's logo.  It's amazing how easily young minds are left with impressions. Want to see a sneak peak of this video that's due out to debut's on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and movie download September 21, 2010?  Awesome, because I just happen to have a little snip.  Actually it's quite a bit, which is nice.  Grab your little ones and take a peak at this classic movie, It's before Tinker even met Wendy or The Lost Boys.  Here's a little info of what you'll see in this clip: This particular clip showcases the first time Tinker Bell meets a human for the first time – an 8-year old girl named Lizzy. Lizzy discovers that her dream to meet … [Read more...]
