Giving back to our community is a part of being a frugalista to me. One of the things I miss the most about my “coupon days” is when I would have a plethora of extras in my stockpile and I could give it away. I know how important it is to have that helping hand. Before our twins were born things were tight. The well was completely empty. And if you haven’t had your well completely dry, things can get pretty bleak. As my quickly growing belly grew leaps and bounds, finding the perfect outfit was too. Purchasing cutesy maternity clothes wasn’t optional (so wish I had the resources I have now, then). After hearing my silent cry via the phone one day, my sister sent me a package of bras in the mail.
You would not think that something as simple as a bra could bring such joy to my spirit but it did. Such a small gesture but life altering. Truly, it was.
