My week last week was off the charts crazy! So crazy I think I only posted twice. The giveaway and fresh & easy oh and my fab experience with the Wente Wines 5th generation owner . Friday came and I unplugged. Not from all my devices but from answering emails, returning calls, or writing posts. It was awesome. Projects around the house have been keeping us so busy we haven’t even been able to put up what seems like, my now bi-weekly Share It Wednesday posts.
I’ll get better I just know it once the kids are back in school <heard it before>. Are you feeling that “summer pain” too?
Since my cell phone is always handy, I snapped a few <wink> instagram pics over my relaxing, unplugged weekend. We’ve decided to finally pick a flavor for our home. Well, as best as we can anyway. Not really sure there is an actual name but it’s as close to our style as possible. So…we painted. We framed. We nailed and educated ourself in a ton of DIY projects and Vintage Vegas all in our 2 day weekend.
I learned so much about Vintage Vegas, i.e. Old Vegas per my Craiglist side table seller. Finally …..to see the history of Vegas pour through stores makes me proud to live here. I’ve loved Vegas all along but discovering more and more about the past of who, what, why and the glamour parts of Vegas. Oh Vegas has lot’s of Hollywood glamour that passed through these parts and remnants that were left behind. Here’s my instaWeekend at a glance:
