What time is it? It’s The Lorax time!!!
My kids usually wait until Friday to watch all new movies and we do it up big..popcorn, room is dark and we get all snuggled in bed together. Well, this movie …The Dr. Seuss The Lorax movie arrived on Monday and my kids have been watching it ever since. We are HUGE Dr. Seus fans and we actually didn’t get to the premiere or take them to go see it in the theater (I know so not like me).
But I’m glad we didn’t because it built up such anticipation for them to watch it at home. And with summer break being in full affect, this was perfect timing.
So this has been our week! Lot’s of popcorn and lot’s of The Lorax. Which is perfect because:
In celebration of the upcoming launch of DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX on Blu-ray and DVD, THE HOME DEPOT has teamed up with the EPA’s ENERGY STAR® and DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX for this Saturday’s Kids Workshop on August 4, 2012 from 9am-12pm.
If you aren’t famaliar with how the Home Depot workshops are all about, here is a little behind the scenes to get you up to speed:
- Home Depot workshops are FREE hands-on workshops designed for children ages 5 – 12 offered the 1st Saturday of every month at all The Home Depot stores between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment.
- All kids get to keep their craft and receive a FREE Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.
