So the New Year is upon us and I myself am always looking for ways to not only save but ways to stay up to date with my technology.  Why you ask?  Because as I’ve watched the coupon industry GROW over the past year, but more importantly what I’ve noticed is how quickly everyone is becoming more and more technology savvy with their life and coupons.  And I am Sooooo happy about this.  Looking for Free apps for their phone, iPads, computers.  It just helps you all across the board.

I feel finally I’m in an era that I can relate to.  My mom always told me I was born in the wrong era since I felt we should have been able to pick out what type of husband I was going to marry at age 5. All the way down to his shirt style.  Oh yes, I absolutely thought we should be able to go to a box {now known as a computer} and punch in everything we want, just like at McDonalds.  Well….we’re here folks! Yaaaaa…..

Cox has a new app for your iPad, did you know that?  No…you say :-)  I can not tell you how excited I am so play around with it.

Here’s a quick video tutorial of how it works:

FYI – the cooking reference {a different post coming up on my lunch recipes}  So what did you think?  Cool right!  Can you not just see yourself watching all your favorite shows, working on the computer at the same time or outside while the kiddos are playing and being able to view your show???  I can’t wait.

I should let you know just in case you get an error after trying to log in, make sure to just try it again.  I’ve had success with that method.

I had to share this picture because my hubby was under the impression {not sure how he got that idea…lol} that I was making lunch and I got caught catching up on my shows.  That cute little Cox  button on the top left corner of my iPad is going to get me in trouble.  OH, the cover I’m using can be found here.

I know you iPad users are dieing to get your hands on this app right!  Well, you need to first know that you must be a Cox communication subscriber.  Do you have that?

Cool….moving on..

  • head over to the Cox TV Connect in the iTunes on your iPad or iPad 2
  • Launch and install
  • Once you’ve installed it all you need to do is login with your Cox user ID and Password info.

Wa-la, your screen awaits you:

This is what it will look like once it logs on.   Once your logged on the Cox TV Connect app, you can {from Cox TV Connect page}:

  • Access over 30 national cable channels.
  • Stream up to five iPad devices concurrently. {seriously…if you have 5 iPads…lets talk :-) }
  • Access an easy to navigate guide, which lists program descriptions and ratings for current and upcoming shows.
  • Choose to watch programs using a full screen high quality standard definition picture in either portrait or landscape view.
Here’s that full screen view for you:
The application is FREE!  FREE…that’s right.  If you already own an iPad and are a Cox subscriber, you could be watching a little tele but not on the TV tonight..on your iPad.  Sweet!!!
