This has to be the most frugal recipe, plus it’s quick and yummy! I’m so glad my BFF shared a recipe with me. I did alter it but
but it was still so good and more than likely few calories since I substituted regular soda for Clear American Water I got at Walmart. And…if your an avid coupon shopper all but one of these ingredients should be in your pantry. In preparation for my shopping trip I use ziplist. I’ve only used it for a couple of months now but it’s fabulous. Here’s the recipe for this easy shop:
I love the fact that I only need to ingredients. Cake mix and water. That’s it. Of course I always pick up liners when they’re on sale and these were super cute. Oh and when you click over to save this recipe to your ziplist, you can also make a shopping list…so cool!

I think next time I will add maybe a dollop of cream cheese to give it a bit more density but otherwise this was really good. Would love to hear how yours turns out if you try it. Leave your comment below!

Okay… so let me get this straight… you make the cake like you normally would using the eggs or whatever it calls for but instead of adding the water it calls for, you add Clear American flavored water? With the variety of flavors available and a white cake mix, you could create about anything! Thanks for the great idea!
