Retail Sale Cycles: When to buy what?

With the large influx of new Couponers since the regular airing of TLC’s Extreme Couponing show, the need for clarification and explanation to a proper etiquette for coupon shopping is a must.

Whenever I post FREE items I always like to reiterate that purchasing “all of the items” on the shelves or in coupon terms, “clearing the shelf” is a no no.  Why?  One, because it’s simply rude.  Have you ever wanted a simple bottle of Tylenol and no other stores within miles; and all of that product is gone?  True fact!  It’s happened and all because someone thought it would be super awesome to post how many FREE bottles of Tylenol they got for FREE.   If you haven’t yet experienced this, stay in the game a bit longer and you will.  Two, is because it will go on sale again!  FACT!  All retail items have sale cycles.

This post is to help you better understand the sale cycles of retail products and hopefully share with you not only the best time to purchase items but to show you that there is a method to our “coupon” madness.  Planning!! Please feel free to click over and print out a copy. It’s always handy to add it to your coupon binder. Let’s begin:
