Review: Fresh & Easy~Sweet Treats for Less

F&E Montcadi Cava Rose:

I love this time of year, with all the freshness (yes even the rain) in the air. It just makes you melt! Right???? Or at least it does on the west coast. Fresh & Easy is gearing up with the sweet holiday season and there are a few sweet treats I just need to share.

First is this very Beautifully wrapped Montcadi Cava Rose Sparkling wine. Here’s a brief description:
Montcadi Cava Rose: A fresh, rose sparkling wine with ripe strawberry
fruit and soft, biscuit flavors, made from grapes grown in Spain’s Cava growing region.

McGuigan Hand Made Barossa Shiraz

I haven’t tried it yet (saving this one for V-day) but at $4.99 how could you go wrong. Plus, look at this beautiful packaging.

This other is a Shiraz. I love Shiraz! Probably because it’s sweet and has a bit more spice that I like. Here’s a brief description:
McGuigan Hand Made Barossa Shiraz: This wine is rich and full-bodied with classic varietal berry and pepper flavors. It is made from Shiraz grapes grown in the Barossa region of South Australia.

I should also point out that if your going to make a purchase of a few bottles, Fresh & Easy will give you 10% off your beverage purchase when you purchase 6 or more. And don’t forget to grab the very cool canvas bag pictured to the left. It holds comfortably 6 bottles in sleeves but you could probably fit a bit more if need be. Retails for $1.99

This next one, I’m just letting you know right now…could be addicting! One Huge Hunk Belgian milk Chocolate I opened this up on Monday and it’s Wednesday now, and what can I tell you…it’s almost gone. This is 14.1 ounces of deliciousness and it is absolutely GINORMOUS. Here’s the package description: Fresh & Easy’s One Huge Hunk Chocolate Bar with Pecans & Fruit is made with Belgian milk chocolate and contains candied pecans and chewy fruit pieces. I had no idea this would be my favorite part. The sweet fruit and crunchy pecans…is your mouth watering or what!! This retails for $4.29 and worth every tiny morsel.

Gourmet Swis Truffles

I’ve never been a truffles person but I do love chocolate. I’m sure for most it’s the creamy center that keeps them coming back. Well, you will not be let down by these at all. This Gourmet Swiss Truffle box by Sweet Boutique is imported from Switzerland and contains both milk and dark chocolate with a creamy filling. Really, how could I not love this. They retail at $7.99 for a 6.7oz. box.

Last but certainly not least was the ever popular Snickerdoodle. I’m so sad to say I didn’t get to snap a picture of these because…well, they were just so darn good! Packaged in a very trendy brown bag with clear fronting, there are 8 cookies inside sure to put you into a sugar bliss. These cookies are made with butter, bourbon vanilla and premium cinnamon. Did I mention the chewy deliciousness of these cookies. Really, taking a picture never even crossed my mind when eating these goodies. They retail 8 cookies for $2.59. So worth it!!!
