Monday: Chicken Satay Skewers over rice and edamame. ( I buy these all the time Trader Joes so I’m excited to make them at home now)I’m making 16
Tuesday: Left over chicken from yesterday but turned into a salad with spinach, tomatoes, celery & oranges. (I love oranges in salads)
Wednesday: Lemon Grilled Chicken over Garlic-Ginger Corn Even though it seems to have a ton of ingredients, it’s really now and it’s yummy
Thursday: Tuna Melt with Slaw
Friday: We will be doing our $1 Restaurant.com deal again from this past weekend. Memphis Championship Barbecue or Mexican.
Saturday: Upside down dinner ~ Homemade waffles w/berries/fruit salad and turkey sausage.
Sunday: Crock Pot Sunday~I always plan these last. Depends on what leftovers we have and what’s in the cupboards. But as always, I’m always open to suggestion
You’ll find that the dishes I choose to make have a variety of seasonings like herbs and fresh veggies (which I love to buy at Fresh & easy). My family has a history of High Blood Pressure so I want to continue the flavor or all the dishes I love but with less the salt. I’ve found that by adding the fresh veggies and herbs I can compensate with the salt flavor. I hope you enjoy any of the recipes I’ve picked out for my family this week.
